# Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration: Complete Buyer's Guide

> Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration launches September 16, 2026. Full product lineup, chase cards, provisional pull rates, and which products are worth buying.

Category: Pokémon

The first simultaneous worldwide Pokémon TCG launch arrives September 16, 2026 — one of thirty unique Pikachu designs guaranteed in every pack, and some of the most striking chase art the game has produced. Here's what's in the lineup, which products give the best pack rate, and one delay that'll catch buyers off guard.

## What's dropping on launch day, September 16?

Seven products hit shelves on day one, from $9.99 blisters up to the Elite Trainer Box at $49.99 (9 packs) and the Pokémon Center ETB at ~$59.99 (11 packs) — two different products at two different prices.

- Knock Out Collection — 2 packs, $9.99
- 2-Pack Blister — 2 packs, $9.99
- Tech Sticker Collection — 3 packs, $14.99
- Poster Collection — 3 packs, $14.99
- ex Box (Sylveon ex or Greninja ex) — 4 packs, $21.99
- Elite Trainer Box — 9 packs, $49.99
- Pokémon Center ETB — 11 packs, ~$59.99

## Which product gives you the best pack rate?

The Booster Bundle (6 packs, $26.94) wins outright at $4.49 per pack — but it doesn't arrive until October 2. Best day-one option is the standard ETB at $5.55 per pack. The Ultra-Premium Collection (29 packs + 1 Classic Collection booster, $179.99, November 6) runs about $6 per pack.

No English booster box exists — the Booster Bundle is as close to bulk buying as it gets.

## What are the chase cards worth hunting?

Two tiers to target. Futuristic Rares (FURs) are a new rarity in the 2026 Mega block — confirmed FURs are Mewtwo ex #157/128 and Mew ex #158/128. Provisional pull rate from pre-release data (TCGTalk via cardrake.com, September 5, 2026): roughly 1 in 134 packs.

Top SIRs: Jirachi ex #155/128, Pikachu ex #149/128 and #150/128 (day and night), and Greninja ex #148/128. Sylveon ex, Fuecoco ex, and Salamence ex also have confirmed SIRs. Provisional SIR rate: roughly 1 in 19 packs, or about 1 per two standard ETBs.

## What are scalpers charging before release?

Pre-release ask prices: GameStop ETB presale at $170, eBay ETB asks at $175–$220, Pokémon Center ETB at $319.99 on eBay, and individual packs at ~$16.95 on TCGPlayer. All are sealed-product asking prices, not sold comps.

2021 Celebrations appreciated in its first year then dipped mid-2022 — supply surprises cut both ways. Snap a photo to value any pulls in CardLoft once you've cracked your packs.

## What's delayed — and what's coming later?

The Binder Collection (5 packs, $31.99) was pushed from October 2 to December 4 — check your preorder. Post-launch wave:

- Day & Night Mini Tins — 2 packs, $9.99 — October 2
- Booster Bundle — 6 packs, $26.94 — October 2
- Battle Decks (Espeon ex or Umbreon ex) — $19.99 — October 30
- Ditto Premium Collection — 8 packs, $39.99 — November 6
- Ultra-Premium Collection Day or Night — 29 packs + 1 Classic booster, $179.99 — November 6
- Binder Collection — 5 packs, $31.99 — December 4 (delayed)

## FAQ

### Is there an English booster box for 30th Celebration?

No. There's no standalone English booster box — packs only come inside products. The Booster Bundle (6 packs, $26.94) is the closest bulk option.

### What's a Futuristic Rare (FUR)?

FUR = Futuristic Rare, a new rarity in the 2026 Mega block. Confirmed: Mewtwo ex #157/128 and Mew ex #158/128, at a provisional pull rate of roughly 1 in 134 packs.

### Can I pull Classic Collection reprint cards from regular packs?

Classic Collection 3-card booster packs are exclusive to the Ultra-Premium Collection. Individual Classic Collection reprint cards can appear as chase pulls in regular boosters — just not in pack form.

### When does the Binder Collection actually release?

Delayed from October 2 to December 4, 2026. If you preordered expecting it in October, check with your retailer.

### Are the pull rates official?

Not yet. They come from ~267 packs of pre-release product analysed by TCGTalk via cardrake.com (September 5, 2026) — TPC hasn't published official rates. Treat them as directional, not definitive.
