Category: Yu-Gi-Oh!

The Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2026 Limited Pack releases August 29 at Tokyo Garden Theater and OTS stores worldwide — and not a single one will turn up on a supermarket shelf. Twenty-one cards, three rarity tiers, six Ukiyo-e alternate arts, and exactly one Monster Reborn with a shot at Starlight Rare status.

## What Is the WCS 2026 Limited Pack?

It's a 21-card set sold exclusively through Konami's Official Tournament Store network and at the World Championship event itself in Tokyo (August 28–30). Packs are $4.99 USD (396 yen in OCG regions) for 4 cards, with 10-pack boxes at $49.90.

Twenty of the 21 cards each come in four variants: Ultra Rare, Ultra Rare with WCS 2026 logo, Secret Rare, and Secret Rare with WCS 2026 logo. The logo — embossed into the centre of the text box — is Konami's permanent, official marker that separates a genuine WC print from any standard version of the same card.

## The Ukiyo-e Six — The Real Chase Cards

Five of the 20 standard cards also get a sixth variant: an alternate art rendered in the Ukiyo-e style — 17th–19th century Japanese woodblock print aesthetic, chosen as a direct homage to Tokyo hosting WCS 2026. The 21st card, Monster Reborn, comes exclusively in Ukiyo-e alt art and skips the Ultra Rare tier entirely; it's Secret Rare or Starlight Rare only.

- Monster Reborn (Ukiyo-e alt art — Secret Rare or Starlight Rare only)
- Dracotail Faimena (Ukiyo-e alt art)
- Yummy★Snatchy (Ukiyo-e alt art)
- Vanquish Soul Caesar Valius (Ukiyo-e alt art)
- K9-17 "Ripper" (Ukiyo-e alt art)
- Ame no Murakumo no Mitsurugi (Ukiyo-e alt art)

## Rarity Decoder: Ultra Rare, Secret Rare, Starlight Rare

Tilt the card. That one move tells you everything.

Ultra Rare has foil on the card name only — the artwork sits flat. Secret Rare adds diagonal holographic foil across the artwork and a rainbow foil card name, but borders and the text box stay non-foil. Starlight Rare (OCG name: Prismatic Secret Rare — same card, different regional label) goes full-card: horizontal holographic foil over the artwork, borders, text box, and level stars. If the whole card shimmers when you tilt it, you've pulled a Starlight. Snap a photo in CardLoft to instantly confirm the rarity and log it to your collection.

## Where to Get WCS 2026 Packs

OTS locations worldwide and the WCS event venue in Ariake, Tokyo. That's the entire list.

- OTS (Official Tournament Store) locations globally — find yours via the Konami OTS locator
- At the event: Tokyo Garden Theater, Ariake, August 28–30
- NOT available on Amazon, eBay (new), or general retail

## FAQ

### Can I buy WCS 2026 packs online?

Not from Konami — distribution is OTS-only and at the event. Secondary market listings will appear, but they won't be sealed allocations from Konami.

### Are WCS 2026 Limited Pack cards tournament legal?

Yes, from 29 August 2026 — the Limited Pack print doesn't affect legality wherever the card name appears on the legal list.

### What's the difference between 'Starlight Rare' and 'Prismatic Secret Rare'?

Nothing — same card, different regional name. Starlight Rare is the TCG label; Prismatic Secret Rare is the OCG label. Identical foiling treatment.

### Does every WCS 2026 card have the logo embossed?

No — only the logo variants do. Each of the 20 standard cards has four versions; two of those four carry the WCS 2026 logo embossed in the text box, and two are clean prints without it.

### How do I tell a Starlight Rare from a Secret Rare at a glance?

Tilt the card. Secret Rare shimmers only across the artwork and card name. Starlight Rare shimmers across everything — artwork, borders, text box, level stars. Full-card shimmer equals Starlight.
