Are Adrenalyn XL Cards Worth Anything? Rare Cards and Real Prices

Most Panini Adrenalyn XL cards are worth pennies, and Panini's own price list proves it: it sells ordinary cards from recent editions for 45p each and Golden Ballers for £9. The cards worth more are the serial-numbered ones, genuine autographs, and early cards of superstars graded in perfect condition. Here's how to tell which of yours they are, with real sold prices, and how to check any card from a photo.

Are Adrenalyn XL cards worth anything?

Not much, for almost all of them. The clearest evidence comes from Panini itself, which sells missing cards to collectors finishing a binder. On panini.co.uk in October 2026, an ordinary FIFA 365 2026 Team Mates card cost 45p, a Fans' Favourite 90p and a Golden Baller or Invincible £9. A World Cup 2026 base card cost 57p and a Golden Baller £9. When the maker will sell you a card for 45p, nobody else will pay much more for it.

Even famous players don't change that on their own. A 2010 Champions League Lionel Messi graded PSA 9, near-perfect condition, went for a winning bid of US$24 at Goldin in April 2024, and a 2019 FIFA 365 Messi graded a perfect PSA 10 for US$35. The cards that do sell for real money are in the sections below.

Which Adrenalyn XL cards are rare in FIFA 365 2027?

FIFA 365 2027, the current edition, launched in the UK in September 2026 with 451 checklist cards plus five rare Momentum cards outside the checklist. The scarcest cards are the numbered ones, stamped with a serial number such as 07/50, and the autographs. Panini publishes how scarce each is:

FIFA 365 2027 Adrenalyn XL: how scarce the rarer cards are
CardHow scarce
Blue FANS parallelAbout 1 in 2 packets
Red FANS parallelAbout 1 in 5 packets
Pink FANS parallelAbout 1 in 20 packets
Orange FANS parallelNumbered to 100
Green FANS parallelNumbered to 50
Gold FANS parallelNumbered to 10
Autographs2,500 worldwide
Platinum (WOW Box only)Numbered /50 down to 1/1

A card numbered to 10 or 50 is scarce in a way no Limited Edition is, and a genuine autograph of a big name is the card most worth protecting. The autographs are spread through ordinary packets. The Platinum cards, 15 players in Green /50, Purple /40, Gold /10 and Black 1/1, come only in Panini UK's online WOW Box (£110 for 70 packets, five WOW packets and one numbered Platinum card), so they never turn up in a shop packet.

Are Limited Edition and Golden Baller cards rare?

Less than the name suggests. Every Adrenalyn XL starter pack, multipack and tin guarantees Limited Editions: the FIFA 365 2027 Multipack (£7.99) has two, and the Starter Pack (£8.99) comes with a Golden Baller and a Lamine Yamal Limited Edition. In February 2026 Panini UK gave away a free Messi or Ronaldo World Cup 2026 Limited Edition with any £20 order.

And Panini sells Golden Ballers and Invincibles directly, at £9 each in October 2026. That price is a fair ceiling for an ordinary copy. The exception worth looking for is a scarce variant of one, such as the Invincible parallels in Premier League 2025, which ran from Emerald (about 1 in 333 packets) to Plasma (about 1 in 1,000).

Which Adrenalyn XL cards have sold for real money?

Early cards of superstars, graded in perfect condition, and signed cards. These are winning bids at Goldin, in US dollars, before the buyer's premium:

  • 2010 World Cup Lionel Messi with an autograph authenticated by PSA/DNA: US$1,250, October 2024.
  • 2023-24 LaLiga Lamine Yamal #90, PSA 10: US$175, November 2024.
  • 2017 Kylian Mbappé rookie #527, PSA 10: US$145, February 2025.
  • 2023-24 LaLiga Lamine Yamal Balón de Oro Limited Edition, PSA 10: US$122, September 2024.
  • 2014 World Cup Top Master Messi, PSA 9: US$50, April 2022.

Notice the gap between selling and asking. The same Yamal Balón de Oro PSA 10 that sold for US$122 has been listed for anything from about US$1,300 to US$17,500. A listing is somebody's hope; a sale is the price. Value a card from what copies actually sold for, never from the highest asking price you can find.

Is there a Premier League Adrenalyn XL in 2025/26?

No. Panini made Premier League Adrenalyn XL from 2019/20, its first Premier League set of 469 cards and 26 Limited Editions, to the 2025 edition released in August 2024. Fanatics, which owns Topps, became the Premier League's exclusive trading card partner from June 2025, so Premier League cards now come from Topps, in a stand-alone Topps Premier League product rather than Match Attax.

Adrenalyn XL carries on with FIFA 365 and the World Cups: Panini keeps the World Cup licence up to and including 2030, with FIFA's trading cards moving to Topps from 2031. Euros already went to Topps from Euro 2024, so Euro 2020 was Panini's last Euro Adrenalyn XL.

How do I tell which edition an Adrenalyn XL card is from?

Start with the name on the card, then remember Panini names editions by a year that isn't the season you'd expect:

  • Premier League editions take the year the season ends: Premier League Adrenalyn XL 2024 is the 2023/24 season.
  • FIFA 365 editions take the following year: FIFA 365 2027 went on sale in September 2026.
  • World Cup and Euro editions are named for the tournament, such as World Cup 2026 (630 cards) or Euro 2020.
  • Older editions printed an online game code on the back of every card; newer ones moved the code to a QR leaflet or a QR code in the packet.

Then match the card number against that edition's checklist, which is what separates a player's base card from their Limited Edition or parallel.

Are old Adrenalyn XL cards worth anything?

Mostly no, even the first edition. Panini Spain still sells missing cards from 2009/10 Liga BBVA, one of the first Adrenalyn XL sets, at €1.50 for a base card, €4.50 for a Star and €11 for a Supercrack. Graded early cards of the biggest names have gone cheaply too: a 2014-15 Champions League Limited Edition Messi graded PSA 9 made a winning bid of US$10 at Goldin.

We found no recorded sale of a complete binder, so treat any asking price for one with care and check the soccer cards price guide for what does move the market. A binder's real value is usually in the handful of numbered, signed or superstar cards inside it.

How do I check what my Adrenalyn XL card is worth?

Photograph the front of the card and CardLoft identifies it, including the edition and any parallel, and values it, free. In Adrenalyn XL the colour of a parallel and any serial number change the value more than anything else, so shoot the card straight-on in even light with the border colour and the number in focus.

Frequently asked questions

Are Adrenalyn XL cards worth anything?

Most are worth pennies: Panini itself sells ordinary cards from recent editions for 45p and Golden Ballers for £9. The cards worth more are serial-numbered parallels, genuine autographs and early cards of superstars in top grades, such as a PSA 10 2017 Kylian Mbappé rookie that sold for US$145.

What is the rarest Adrenalyn XL card?

In FIFA 365 2027 it's the Black Platinum one-of-ones, which come only in Panini UK's online WOW Box, followed by Gold parallels numbered to 10. There are also 2,500 autographs spread across the whole print run.

Are Golden Baller cards worth anything?

Not much on their own. Panini sells Golden Ballers directly for £9 each, which sets a ceiling on an ordinary copy. Scarce variants, numbered cards and the biggest names can be worth more.

Is there a Premier League Adrenalyn XL for 2025/26?

No. Panini's last Premier League Adrenalyn XL was the 2025 edition, released in August 2024. Topps has the Premier League licence from 2025/26. Adrenalyn XL continues with FIFA 365 and the World Cup.

Is it worth grading Adrenalyn XL cards?

Rarely. Grading adds most to early cards of superstars in perfect condition: a PSA 10 2023-24 LaLiga Lamine Yamal made US$175. But a PSA 9 2010 Champions League Messi made only US$24, so for most cards the grade adds less than you'd expect.
