Panini Prizm Premier League: Parallels, Rookies and What the Cards Are Worth
Panini Prizm Premier League was the Premier League's chromium-style hobby set for six seasons, from 2019-20 to 2024-25. There won't be a seventh: the Premier League's trading cards moved to Topps from 2025/26. Most of its cards sell for a few dollars; the value is in low-numbered parallels, autographs and the case-hit inserts of the biggest names. Here's the parallel ladder, the rookies, real sold prices and how to value yours from a photo.
What is Panini Prizm Premier League?
It's Panini America's Premier League edition of Prizm, the brand known for its shiny Prizm finish and long ladder of coloured, serial-numbered parallels. The first edition, 2019-20, was Panini America's first product devoted to the Premier League and came out in September 2019. Editions followed every season to 2024-25; the last two each had a 300-card base set, 15 players per club.
It's a hobby product, sold by box rather than in supermarket packets. Panini's Premier League cards for the shops in those years were Adrenalyn XL and the sticker albums.
Why was 2024-25 the last Prizm Premier League?
Panini held the Premier League's trading card licence from 2019, and the league extended it in 2021. In May 2024 the Premier League named Fanatics, which owns Topps, as its exclusive provider of trading cards, trading card games and stickers from June 2025. That made 2024-25 the final Panini edition.
Topps' Premier League cards replaced it: Topps Premier League 2025/26 went on sale in the UK in August 2025, and 2026 Topps Chrome Premier League, released in February 2026, brought back the Premier League Chrome brand for the first time since 2018-19. Whether the last Panini sets become more valuable because the run has ended is a guess; we found no sales data that measures it.
What is the Prizm Premier League parallel ladder?
The unnumbered Silver Prizm is the parallel most collectors mean by "a Prizm", and there are many other unnumbered finishes besides (Hyper, Ice, Lazer, Mojo, Snakeskin and more). The numbered ones carry a serial stamp, and in 2024-25 they ran:
| Parallel | Copies of each card |
|---|---|
| Blue | 299 |
| Red | 199 |
| Purple & White Stripes | 92 |
| Blue Ice | 75 |
| Red Lazer | 49 |
| White | 35 |
| Purple Mojo | 25 |
| Pink Mojo | 11 |
| Gold | 10 |
| Black Gold | 8 |
| Green | 5 |
| Black | 1 |
Other box types had their own: Breakaway boxes run Pink /149 to Black 1/1, Choice boxes Red /30 to a Nebula 1/1, and the blaster and retail boxes carry Mosaic and Pulsar colours. A 2024-25 Hobby box averaged one autograph, four Silvers and five numbered parallels.
Which Prizm Premier League rookies matter?
Panini marks official rookie cards with an RC, and each edition has dozens: the 2019-20 set alone had more than 70, including Callum Hudson-Odoi and Declan Rice. The 2023-24 class includes Kobbie Mainoo (#38) and Lewis Miley (#72), and the 2024-25 class Myles Lewis-Skelly (#35), Mikey Moore and Archie Gray.
Not every big young player has a Prizm rookie: a player whose first Panini card came in another product misses the RC in Prizm. And the last Panini rookies also have Topps rookie cards, so they aren't the only first cards those players will have.
What are Prizm Premier League cards worth?
Most of them sell for a few dollars. These are eBay sales of 2024-25 and 2023-24 cards in 2026 unless noted, in US dollars as a sold-price tracker records them, plus StockX sales for boxes:
| Card | Sold for |
|---|---|
| Base card of a star (Haaland, Palmer) | US$0.99 to US$2.89 |
| Silver Prizm of a star (Salah, Haaland, Saka) | US$1.01 to US$4.99 |
| Base rookie card (Archie Gray, Kobbie Mainoo) | US$1 to US$12.99 |
| Silver rookie (Lewis-Skelly, Mikey Moore, Mainoo) | US$1 to US$8.52 |
| Numbered /299 to /92 | US$2.22 to US$36 |
| Low-numbered rookie (Moore Gold /10, Lewis-Skelly Choice /20) | US$50 to US$210 |
| Signatures autograph, Cole Palmer | US$43.01 to US$86.83 |
| Signatures autograph, lesser-known signer | US$3.25 to US$14.99 |
| Signatures autograph, David Beckham (2023-24) | US$190 to US$238 |
| Sealed 2024-25 Hobby box (StockX, one sale) | A$622 |
| Sealed 2023-24 Hobby box (StockX, 2024) | A$279 to A$335 |
The parallel and the player decide almost everything. A 2023-24 Kobbie Mainoo Gold /10 rookie sold for US$1,330 in September 2025 and his Red /199 for US$55 to US$62 in mid-2024, while his base rookie card mostly sold for under US$5 in 2026.
What is the most valuable Prizm Premier League card?
The highest sale we found is a 2020-21 Black Prizm Bukayo Saka rookie, a one-of-one, graded PSA 10, which sold for US$23,200 in August 2024. Below that the top end is the case-hit inserts and low-numbered parallels of the biggest names:
- 2024-25 Manga Erling Haaland #20, PSA 10: US$7,200, October 2026.
- 2022-23 Color Blast Erling Haaland #4, PSA 10: US$3,250, March 2025.
- 2024-25 Manga Cole Palmer #18, PSA 10: US$1,700, September 2026.
- 2024-25 Manga Bukayo Saka #6, PSA 10: US$1,530, September 2026.
- 2019-20 Gold Mohamed Salah #99, numbered to 10, PSA 9: US$688, March 2023.
Prices move with form. A raw 2024-25 Color Blast Cole Palmer sold for US$1,650 in June 2025 and for US$658 in October 2026, so check what a card sold for recently, not at its peak.
How do I tell which year a Prizm Premier League card is from?
Card numbers change every season, which is the quickest check: Saka is #40 in 2020-21, #27 in 2023-24 and #21 in 2024-25. The Flashback insert gives the year away too (a 2012 design means 2023-24, a 2014 design 2024-25), and the parallel's pattern tells you the box type, such as Breakaway, Choice or a blaster's Mosaic.
Price guides file each season under its first year, so 2024-25 is listed as "2024 Prizm Premier League". And don't confuse it with Panini Chronicles, which had a Prizm Premier League subset, or Panini Select Premier League, which uses Prizm-named parallels.
How do I check what my Prizm Premier League card is worth?
Photograph the front of the card and CardLoft identifies it, including the season and the parallel, and values it, free. Prizm finishes are hard to tell apart in a photo, so shoot the card straight-on in soft, even light, tilt it slightly if the pattern doesn't show, and include the serial number if it has one.
