What's my card worth?
Snap or upload a photo of any trading card and see what it's worth right now. Free, in seconds, no account needed. Works for AFL, NRL, Pokémon and most trading cards.
How the value check works
- Photograph your card. Snap or upload a clear, front-on photo. No typing, no catalogue lookups.
- We identify it. CardLoft reads the set, player, card number and any parallel from the photo.
- See what it's worth. CardLoft prices it against the live market and shows the range in your currency.
Asking prices vs sold prices
The free check shows current asking prices: what similar cards are listed for on the market today. It's a fast, honest read on a card's market, but asking prices sit above what cards actually sell for. Create a free account to save your cards, track your collection and unlock sold-price valuations.
Which cards can CardLoft value?
The check is built for Australian cards first, which is where most card apps fall short. These are the categories it handles:
- AFL: Select Footy Stars, Supremacy, Eminence, Seamless and Optimum, plus vintage Scanlens and Teamcoach.
- NRL: Select League Heroes and the TLA years before it (Traders, Elite, Titanium), plus vintage rugby league.
- Cricket: Test, ODI and Big Bash issues, back through the vintage era.
- Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh!, including the modern rarity tiers and foil treatments.
- NBA, NFL, soccer, F1 and most other cards with an active market.
From one photo it reads the set, the player or card name, the card number and the parallel, then prices that exact version rather than the base card.
Prices in your currency
Most card scanner apps price everything from the United States, which misses the AFL, NRL and Australian cards that barely trade there. CardLoft prices each card against the live market it actually trades in, then shows the value in your own currency. It is detected automatically: US dollars in the US, pounds in the UK, euros in the rest of Europe and Australian dollars everywhere else. You can change it any time in Settings.

Frequently asked questions
How do you work out what my card is worth?
Take a clear photo of the front of your card. CardLoft identifies the set, player and any parallel, then prices that exact card against the live market and shows you the range in your currency. It takes a few seconds and needs no account.
Is CardLoft a card scanner app?
In the way that matters, yes: you photograph a card and it identifies and prices it. It runs in your browser, so there's nothing to install, and it works the same on a phone as on a laptop.
Is the value check really free?
Yes. You can value cards from a photo for free, with no account and no sign-up. A free CardLoft account lets you save cards, track your collection and unlock sold-price valuations.
Are these sold prices or asking prices?
The free check shows current asking prices: what similar cards are listed for on the market right now. That's a solid guide to a card's market, but asking prices sit above what cards actually sell for. Sold-price valuations are available with a free account.
What cards can I value?
AFL, NRL and cricket, plus Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, NBA, NFL, soccer and most other trading cards. It works best on cards that trade often.
Can it tell a parallel from a base card?
It reads the parallel or rarity tier off the photo where the card shows one, and prices that version rather than the base card. If it gets the card wrong, you can correct the player, year, set or parallel yourself and re-check the price.
How many cards can I check in a day?
Three a day without an account. A free account raises that to 30 a day, saves each card into your collection so you don't re-photograph it, and unlocks sold-price valuations.
Why can't it price some cards?
If there aren't enough current listings for the exact card, CardLoft won't guess. We'll say so and point you at a wider search instead. Very rare, very new or hard-to-read cards are the usual cause; a sharp, front-on photo gives the best match.
